Gut Health and How I’m Getting Rid of Parasites

    May 9, 2019 • Wellness & Lifestyle

Gut Health and How I'm Getting Rid of Parasites. Natural parasite protocol. How To Get Rid of Parasites Naturally

You read that correctly… I have parasites. The thing is, most of us have parasites and never even realize it. This post is all about How I’m Getting Rid of Parasites Naturally.

These little buggers are very sneaky and easy to get, especially when you’re stressed or when your immune system is weak. Parasites are smart and take advantage of you in those weaker moments, thinking you will make a great host! So they get comfy. They eat your food and nutrients and over time can cause you to feel tired, weak and bloated with chronic GI problems. You probably think it was something you ate, or a food sensitivity (this is what I thought). They also poop in you, releasing their own toxic bacteria and viruses. Yes, they have their own bacteria and viruses, and parasites can live within parasites. Over time, having a parasite can lead to nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalance, chronic stomach problems, skin issues… the list goes on.

While they often prefer to live in the colon, they can set up shop in any part of your body. Your liver, uterus, esophagus, lungs, brain, blood, muscles, joints and skin, etc. Parasites can live in your intestines for years and years without causing any symptoms, too. They are a part of life and unavoidable. They’re also incredibly contagious, especially if you don?t wash your hands enough. This makes children especially susceptible to parasites. Think you are too good for parasites? Think again. They do not discriminate.

    How Do You Get Parasites?

    From literally anything.

Sushi is the number one offender, but so is undercooked meat, unwashed vegetables or fruit, contaminated water (especially while traveling), from your dog, from kissing and from simply breathing in the air outside. I know. Someone even messaged me to beware of vegan sushi as it is usually made using the same knife and cutting board as regular sushi. They used to work as a sushi chef… so sushi as a whole is off limits for me.

Parasites are inevitable and we all have them. The doctors at Microbe Formulas always say, if you have a pulse, you have parasites. Eek!

How Did I Find Out I Have Parasites?

I saw them in the toilet. A worm and liver flukes that look like rolled up tomato peels…. only you haven’t eaten tomatoes lately. PUKE. Since then, I’ve seen parasites that look like pink pieces of corn (also called liver flukes). I’ve seen 12-inch and 24-inch long worms. I’ve seen small rope worms and things with squiggly legs. I’ve seen enough parasites to last a lifetime (at least 100 of them) and most of the time, I want to vomit but I’m also RELIEVED that I’m killing them off and what I’m doing is working. Like, GET OUT OF MY BODY. Please.

I’m actually embarrassed and can’t believe I’m sharing this for anyone to read. But, because gut health is probably the most important aspect of our health overall, I hope it can help you or someone you know.

Gut problems are not to be overlooked.

Since February, I’ve been working on my gut health which I believe is why my body started to eliminate these parasites. Now, I’m helping it along with a couple things that I will talk about later. It all started with my first ever colonic in February. This experience was nothing short of amazing. I felt like I was HIGH ON LIFE afterwards, like I was flying. I’m not exaggerating one bit. I wondered why I had waited so long and why I was so scared? It was nothing to be scared of.

Those who don’t believe in colonics probably haven’t tried them.

The point is, I started to stir things up in my body and move stagnant energy from my 30 years of living on Earth. Parasites do not thrive when you are healthy, especially with regular cleansing. I got 3 more colonics and started doing coffee enema’s once a week at home. I started to use the sauna more at the gym. I made daily green drinks (and still do) that are like brooms and sweep out your intestines. At the time, I had no idea I was dealing with parasites. I wanted to focus on my gut health because I was tired of my stomach feeling so distended, even after waking up in the morning, when my stomach was empty.

I knew that something wasn’t right because there was so much tightness and pressure when I pressed on my stomach. I’m very in tune with my body and what is normal for me, and this was getting out of control which is why I started colonics and enemas, to try and clear things out. I’m not saying you should start doing all of these things, this is just what my intuition was telling me to do. And then one day, I saw the parasites in the toilet (and did a double take while also screaming). And that’s how my journey started. 2 months into this protocol and I’m still eliminating them.

I have no idea how long these bugs and worms have been living in me. I assume a long time because they are not small.

Gut Health and How I'm Getting Rid of Parasites. Natural parasite protocol. How To Get Rid of Parasites Naturally

Signs That You May Have A Parasite:

    • intense food cravings (especially for sugar and processed foods)
    • chronic fatigue
    • recurring yeast infections
    • anemia, iron deficiency, nutrient deficiency
    • teeth grinding (or drooling during sleep)
    • skin ailments (hives, rashes, eczema, itchy dermatitis, acne, ulcers, sores, lesions, etc.)
    • nervousness, anxiety
    • persistent digestive problems (diarrhea, cramps, bloating, gas)
    • itching ? especially around the mouth, nose and anus
    • mood disorders
    • hyperactivity
    • weight gain or weight loss
    • appetite changes
    • dark under-eye bags
    • sleeping issues
    • brain fog, memory issues
    • hormone imbalance
    • painful menstruation
    • bad taste in mouth
    • mouth sores/blisters
Gut Health and How I'm Getting Rid of Parasites. Natural parasite protocol. How To Get Rid of Parasites Naturally

Throughout this whole experience, I know it sounds strange but I could feel sharp pains in my stomach which I associated with them dying. I had ear aches which is another die-off symptom (of parasites and candida). I also experienced headaches, fatigue and nausea (and still do sometimes). These symptoms are no joke but I remind myself it is temporary and worth it. It is a process and staying consistent is the most important part. My experience has been very manageable. My stomach is the flattest it has ever been. There is no more pressure or tightness. I haven’t lost any weight but I feel a lot lighter if that makes sense and have lost a couple inches on my waist. Also, my skin and eyes are brighter, my under-eye bags have dramatically lightened up and my brain fog has disappeared. Coincidence much? I think not. I feel like a new person. I’m not just saying this. Parasites are pure evil.

I’m not saying you absolutely have parasites. But you probably do. The only way to truly know is to do a GI Map test or stool test but even then, not everything shows up from one stool test because parasites like to hide. So you may have to do multiple tests for more accuracy. Unfortunately, with my shitty insurance (I’m self-employed), I decided against the expensive tests and doctor’s visits for the time time being and instead, I asked my functional medicine doctor to help me come up with a protocol. It has been working extremely well for me. In the first couple weeks I saw them every time I went to the bathroom which was multiple times a day. I still see them most days. I’m saving up to do the stool testing in a couple months. I don’t advise you to go this route. Please find a naturopath to work with who can help you. But also, doing a parasite cleanse it not harmful in any way if you want to go through with it. Doing this will only improve your life and clean out your body, potentially giving you your energy and life back.

    My Personal Parasite 3-Month Protocol:

Why 3 months? Because parasites reproduce and lay eggs, and we want to be sure to kill all life cycles of all parasites. This isn’t a one-week-and-done protocol. It’s a commitment. Also, I’m taking a slower route to avoid harsh die-off symptoms so I can still work and live my life, for the most part. After 3 months, I will focus on rebuilding and strengthening my gut microbiome. Then, every 6 months I will do some sort of parasite cleanse for prevention, because I don’t want to go through this again.

    • Mimosa Pudica Seed: This is an herb that I heavily researched before starting. I chose this herb because in your digestive tract, the Mimosa Pudica Seed becomes a gelatinous, sticky gut scrubber. As it works its way through the intestinal tract, it scrubs and pulls out toxins, heavy metals and biofilm. It suffocates parasites and other unwanted elements. It?s like deep cleaning for your insides but it keeps the bugs whole instead of ripping them apart in pieces (which gives me peace of mind that pieces of parasites aren’t getting stuck). Also, you don’t have to fast. You just need to take this herb on an empty stomach with no food for at least 30 minutes after. You want the bugs and parasites to eat this herb before anything else. I take two on an empty stomach as soon as I wake up. Then I take two at night before bed, 3-4 hours after I’ve eaten dinner.
    • Kidney Liver Detox Supplement: As you cleanse and kill off parasites or infections, a lot of toxic substances are released which means your liver has a lot to process. It is essential to include some sort of liver detox supplement to alleviate some of the burden placed on your liver.
    • Biactive Carbon Biotox This will bind and move the toxic substances that you have stirred up out of your body. Taking a high quality binder like this one will really help with any die-off symptoms. The idea is to eliminate the toxicity as soon as possible. I take 1-2 capsules per day, whenever I feel a headache coming on or when I feel die-off symptoms.
    • High-Quality Probiotic: With all this cleansing, you want to try and keep as much of the good bacteria in your gut as possible. Taking a daily probiotic will help keep more of a balance and help with elimination which is so essential during this time of cleansing. I take one per day, in the morning, with my large glass of lemon water.
    • Digestive Enzymes: Because there is a lot going on in the gut during a parasite cleanse, digestive enzymes can be helpful before meals. They help with absorption and optimize digestion. I take them once or twice a day before meals, if I feel like I need it.
    • Electrolytes: A parasite cleanse means going to the bathroom more than normal which means you are losing more fluids than normal and can become dehydrated. To prevent this, I add the LyteShow electrolytes to my water everyday, especially in my morning lemon water or after a sweaty workout. See my homemade gatorade recipe.

Other Ways I’m Improving My Gut Health:

Aside from the things I mentioned above, here are other ways to help improve your gut health!

    • Juice of 1 whole lemon, in filtered water, with a splash of apple cider vinegar every single morning
    • A daily green drink (recipe here)
    • Leafy greens at every meal (kale, spinach, chard, romaine)
    • Lots of vegetables with at least 2 meals per day
    • Eat more fermented foods (raw sauerkraut, kimchi, pickled vegetables, tempeh, dairy-free yogurt, etc)
    • Coffee Enema’s once a week
    • Sauna 1-2 times per week
    • Exercise 4-5x times per week
    • Getting outside more for a daily walk
My Daily Green Drink. Estrogen Detox Smoothie.

Whew! That was a lot of info. I hope you found this post helpful. Have you ever experienced parasites? Let me know in the comments below!

People have been healing themselves naturally for years…some people do not support Big Pharma and so like to healbthemsrlves…nothing crazy about that.

Oh and your gut lining cannot just come out with all the cleanses…it is the biofilm from parasites she is getting rid off…which is a good thing.

Excellent article. Every single thing you mention is exactly what is happening in me too. I’m not here to sell mimosa pudica either, but that stuff PULLS out worms and long mucoid plaques that makes me feel like I am living in an horrible movie with wormy aliens in me. Honestly, I had spent years reading about parasites etc, only because I had a fungal overgrowth problem. It’s one thing to have microscopic organisms you can’t see coming out, but it’s a whole other experience to pull them out of your butt. I had to be graphic here, but sometimes the worm BMs do come all the way out, and they dangle and have to pull the rest out etc. It’s so absolutely disgusting, and then just like you said, I feel so much better the next day. But then in a day or two, I am detoxing and feeling bad and I know I have more worms coming down the pike. I started getting vert serious about clearing up my gut, did tons of juicing, coffee enemas, exercise, NO processed foods, went kind of keto etc, and after 6 months I find long worms and very nasty rope like substance coming out (mucoid plaque). Then I just started Mimosa pudica and WOW, it just grabs a hold of those suckers and every BM gives you worms. Just imagine parasites we can’t see!!!!!!!! Great article!!

      Hi Sharon
Thanks for your blog. I believe I have had human liver fluke Clonorchis sinesis since a visit to China a few years ago. I have had a few tests done but all were negative which is just because they’re hard to find.
I have quite a few of the listed symptoms especially the lethargy and like a depression.
One thing is that in the fluke life cycle the eggs are laid in water by a snail and we need to ingest them to be infected. They’re often found in undercooked fish or veggies grown there. I don’t believe you can catch them from another person unless you somehow ingest eggs in their faeces. They wouldn’t live long on surfaces such as in a toilet door etc.
I will try the things you suggested!!
      Thanks a lot!

Flukes can be eradicated using myrrh gum capsules. The best non-invasive and conclusive way to test to see if you have them is by using bioresonance testing. I had this test with a practitioner using a rayonex machine and came up with a severe case of flukes. A month later following a course of myrrh gum capsules I was tested again and came up negative. I have been tested several times since, all negative.

I didn’t even have symptoms of parasites but decided to do the cleanse regardless. I made my own herbal cocktail of clove, black walnut hull, and wormwood, (supplemented with a binder) and I ended up passing hundreds of parasites, mostly very very large liver flukes. I will continue doing rounds of cleanses until I stop passing parasites.

All this information is fake and insane. Go see a doctor don’t just assume you have parasites (which are super uncommon in the US and most that are here are microscopic. Coffee enemas can be dangerous and doing colonics super often without even knowing you if you have parasites is not good and your body won’t know how to detox itself if you constantly do both of those. The white dots and red is probably her intestinal lining coming out (which can happen along with a ton of other unfun side effects of intense colon detoxes). Telling people not to see a doctor is incredibly irresponsible and even dangerous. You can’t just “sense” you have worms. Those symptoms could literally mean a million other things which are more likely than parasites. My sister was having a lot of those, losing a ton of weight, getting sick, etc. and wouldn’t go to the hospital. Finally my mom basically forced her and she found out she had a foot long blockage in her intestines and chrons. If she hadn’t gone and gotten emergency surgery she would have died. This is why it’s so important to please please please see a real doctor or go to the hospital if you are having severe GI issues or health issues in general. Doing at home cleanses could cost you your life.

They are far easier to contract then people like to acknowledge you simply need to touch your face after touching an ATM or door knob Handrail elevator button, pretty much anything that someone infected has also touched, and didn’t wash their hands well enough after using the restroom UCLA med center has opened a cycsterosis unit. Citing that tapeworm (pork specifically)is one of the most under reported infectious diseases, and the larvae of this tapeworm travels outside of your intestines and into your muscles, central nervous system and brain, the parasite that you get from cleaning your cat box has been found in over 60% of people in mental health facilities, suffering from schizophrenic type symptoms. It’s a very scary thing and they are very very easy to contract. If you have dogs and they sleep in your bed, there’s an easy way to find yourself with worms. It’s crazy how small they start out and how huge they end up and they are everywhere go to dog, friendly hotels, and learn to identify proglottids off of tape worms and you’ll see them all over the place. It’s disgusting.

Also Albendazole, prazaquintal and ivermectin are the most effective method of treatment and even this sometimes needs to be taken multiple times, and in tandem, I wouldn’t recommend going at a hard-core case of parasites without seeking medical attention first, and at least getting some prescription meds to knock down the numbers when you have a very high burden of worms, it’s gonna take a long time to get rid of all of that

Wonderful blog about these horrible parasites!
I take and give DE in my home. Found many ways to get mine to take it.

I also do many of the things mentioned in the blog and by others.

Enemas! Omg yes! Now don’t everyone run away.

I am given a weekly enema. Sometimes a coffee one. Other times garlic enema. Once in a while I get the old fashioned warm mild soapy enema.

      Never felt better!

I give enemas to my three kids when needed. Especially when I know or think parasites are present.

Use the red rubber enema bag for my enemas and the rubber enema bulb syringe for the kids

      Blessings

Love your blog. Well presented and good information.
Two books that may help are:
Prescription For Nutritional Healing (Get at book stores, on line or health food stores) and,
The Mother and Child. Can get for free at:
        http://www.gutenberg.org/files/20817/20817-h/20817-h.htm#Page_276

Both are great books. Both talk about parasites.
The first one has great instructions for preparing and giving the coffee enema and other enemas and parasites.

I am glad Shannon mentions the coffee enema! After being given the enema I feel so good!

Good to have a enema bucket set or enema bag in the home.
And also a enema bulb syringe.

Always check with your doctor before doing any home remedies.

Wow! Just wow! You educated me in every way and I am anxious to pay more attention to myself. I do not have any issues or suspect any parasites at this point, but your gut health education sounds like what I need to do to keep a healthy guy. What would you recommend I take for an overall parasite flush? Should I go hard core with what you have mentioned above even if I don’t suspect parasites? I’m also working on having my second child-could a y of this be problematic? I suspect it could be-but still? Your gut health sounds great. You also said most people have parasites…. I am not suspicious, but now I am wondering? Anything I should pay attention to?

Thanks Shannon- you really rock at this!

Kara, I also get enemas once a week. More often when feel the need is there.
The enema is the best home health tool I have added to my home!

You can also buy the enema bucket from optimalhealthnetwork.com.
Kristina sells the bucket and bag enemas.

The stainless enema bucket can be expensive. Being a divorced mom with two kids, I cannot afford the bucket for now.

I use the standard red rubber enema bag for my enemas. Can be found in most drug stores. Cost is a little over $10.

The coffee enema is wonderful! It is also good for doing a liver detox.

When needed, I administer a enema to my two kids.
I do not give the coffee enema. When I suspect, or know, one has parasites I administer a garlic enema to both of them and myself.

I administer the enema with a reusable bulb syringe. Always clean very well after a enema is given. Clean with warm soapy water. Rinse well. Final rinse the bulb with alcohol or hydrogen proxide. Leave sitting out for few days of airing.

Not giving medical advice. Consult your doctor before giving any home remedy or enema.

Thank you for this information. It is refreshing to know that one does not need to spend hundreds of dollars a month to remove these pests, like some of the “hip” internet Dr’s are charging.
Question for you…. do you use mimosa pudica in the whole seed form or ground powdered form? I have seen both and wondering if one form is better than the other?

Well, I must say, that I’ve also seen something, what looks like a long, thin peel of carrot or papaya…Firstly, I didn’t pay any attention to it..really believed, it will be some piece of vegetable from my Papaya salad. But, after seeing it also after not enjoying my beloved salad, I really started believing, that it might be them. Well, living in Thailand makes sense, doesn’t it? I had searched on the internet. Found many unclear articles…felt so tired of it…until, I had found yours, which changed it all. You had written everything so clearly, without useless nonsense…I’m gonna follow your advice and recipes right away..just need to buy some stuff. And, I am definitely going to give up the sushi…as you’re absolutely right..it’s raw meat…

If you don’t mind, I would love to share your article with my pages, as I believe, that many of my friends, who live here, will appreciate it!!!

As long as I can! It ranges from 10-20 minutes. I can’t handle much more than that 🙂

This is AMAZING! I’ve actually been struggling with this since I’ve travel to Cuba and believe I got something from the ice in my drinks that were potentially contaminated. I’ve never run into this before and I’m BEYOND thankful for this post because I also can’t afford the stool testing from the doctors. I also had no idea how to move forward with what’s happening with my body so this is literally like finding gold! Thank you! Thank you!

I’m so glad I found this!!
I’ve suffered extreme bloating after eating BITES of food for YEARS now, as well as general malaise, weight gain and getting sick ALL the time. I’ve also had serious second thoughts on eating sushi anymore!
I’ve procured a number of your suggested supplements in my Amazon cart and will be ordering very soon.
You’re advice and articles are amazing and very specific to females. THANK YOU 🙂

Go to Mexico and tell a doctor there you want Loxcell Albendazole for cheap. You can also find smaller amounts for more expensive online now. I drove out worms after doing natural cleanses with Neem. I saw so many I freaked and thought I needed a prescription anti parasitic which I did because after taking Loxcell a lot of cysts filled with larvae came out of my skin. I can’t believe I am alive after all of this and still see dead worms and larvae coming out with enemas. I have had them all through my body, have been hospitalized and in the er many times with tests and bleeding, a lot. I feel like eggs hatch since they are almost invincible so I have to find a way to try to kill the almost invincible larvae again. I now take an albendazole once a month. At first, I took 2 weeks of highest doses sometimes 400-800 mgs a day. I take wormwood, neem, black walnut, cloves, pumpkin seeds and so much stuff I can’t remember it all. It is a nightmare. My pets and husband were or are also infestested. I have had many bacterial infections in my colon from all the damage also. My immune system has barely recovered. Docs rarely prescribe albendazole, and stool tests are often false negative. I have tried other brands online of it from other countries and I don’t think they worked… The evil insurance companies deny it often and the evil pharmaceutical companies charge about $200 a pill. There is so much misinformation, you need more than 1 pill. I now limit my meat. Sorry for anyone going through this.

            Tracy, omg! Bless you hon!
Prayers are with you that you are better!

I have done, and given, the remedies listed by Shannon on here. Also have tried a few remedies listed in the comments.

Best to always consult with your holistic provider before embarking on any parasite cleanse home remedies. Including the enema!

Glad the additional things are listed at the end of Shannon’s article.

I get a coffee enema once a week. More often when needed.

I love getting colonics. Feel so good after getting them.
But, as a single divorced mom colonics are expensive for me. I try to have one done every month.

Will write more later when have more time.

& my hair needed SERIOUS HELP. It was super oily & my hair needed SERIOUS HELP.

It was super oily and greasy with buildup from past products. I was washing daily… and just unhappy with the dullness and lack of volume. That has since changed!

Aside from getting transformed hair, this opportunity allows motivated women to have another income source. It allows mamas to have the best of both worlds - their own income while raising their babies (if you’re in that phase of life). It provides social media training, so much guidance and support (you’re never doing it alone), earned confidence and most importantly, community. Some of my best friends are here now because we talk daily and know everything about each other’s lives! Surrounding yourself with like-minded successful women can turn your life around. I’m not kidding. You are who you surround yourself with. It’s more than just shampoo.

All it takes is deciding YES and stepping out of your comfort zone. Don’t let life pass you by. Stop wondering and start taking action! 🥂

what healing looks like 🌼🩷 I starts out my what healing looks like 🌼🩷

I starts out my morning with a bunch of supplements to eliminate parasites and bacteria and repair my gut while supporting my liver and gallbladder. Next I make a protein smoothie with vanilla whey protein powder and a custom supplement to support my deficiencies. And lastly my creamy dandy blend latte because I’m not drinking coffee right now.

This is what works for me right now! I also have gf toast usually from @awgbakery. I’ve had to eliminate so many things but it’s all for good reason, to reduce all the inflammation. I’m working with @lifelabwellnessco if you would like your own custom plan and testing 🙏🏼 should I share more videos like this?
