    Vegan Easter Basket

    Apr 9, 2017 • Festive/Holidays, Wellness & Lifestyle

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Whole Foods Market. All opinions are 100% mine.

Vegan Easter Basket Ideas. Filled with goodies like vegan candy, chocolate, savory snacks and easter treats, along with beauty finds, vegan reads & "eggs"!

Easter brings back so many sweet, sugar-filled memories, literally.

Growing up, my mom would go all out with the best Easter candy, colorfully arranged in a cute basket with all the goodies; Easter egg hunt included.

As you probably guessed, my lifestyle has since changed and I’m bringing you new ideas for a better Vegan Easter Basket!

I couldn’t wait to share my vegan finds with you and felt like a kid in a candy store, picking out the “fun stuff” that I don’t normally allow myself to buy, which felt incredibly satisfying… I highly recommend you try it for yourself. Think gummy candy, watermelon rings, macaroons, toasted coconut marshmallows, savory vegan snacks, a vegan “egg”, bee-free honee, healthier chewing gum, beauty finds, vegan cooking magazines and lots more. I went ALL OUT and it felt so good.

Whether you’re an adult who indulges on holiday candy from time to time (c’mon, we all do it) or you have kids/teens who follow a vegan lifestyle, no one has to feel left out anymore like years prior! There are SO many goodies at our fingertips and everything I’m sharing today can be found at your local Whole Foods Market.

Times are changin, my loves! Seriously though, who would have thought products like these would be available?!

Of course the goodies aren’t “healthy” per say, but sometimes, you gotta live a little and enjoy life. I never want to come off as a vegan blogger who only eats kale and sweet potatoes and perfectly arranged smoothie bowls on the daily… that is so far from the truth. I like to indulge as much as anyone and encourage you to do the same. Plus, it’s important to support vegan brands who are paving the way for cruelty-free goodies (made without artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives that can be found in conventional candy) and show them some love!!

Vegan Easter Basket Ideas. Filled with goodies like vegan candy, chocolate, savory snacks and easter treats, along with beauty finds, vegan reads & "eggs"!

We need to talk about my love for Whole Foods Market.

Not only do I feel like I’m in a dreamland while shopping there (and literally want everything in sight) but I feel like they get me.

Not only is their produce more fresh and of higher quality (at least here in the midwest!) but the amount of options they offer for anyone following a vegan lifestyle or special diet is magical. They have strict guidelines for the natural food products they do sell, which sets them apart from the rest, giving us peace of mind by supporting brands interested in our well-being.

Your dollar counts, don’t ever forget that.

Everything sold at Whole Foods Market does NOT contain:

    • high fructose corn syrup
    • hydrogenated fats
    • artificial preservatives
    • artificial sweeteners
    • artificial flavors
    • artificial colors

Vegan Easter Basket Ideas. Filled with goodies like vegan candy, chocolate, savory snacks and easter treats, along with beauty finds, vegan reads & "eggs"!

I should also mention that your prayers have been answered… Vegan Marshmallow Bunnies (similar to Peeps!) do exist!!

You’ll have to search this store locator to make sure they’re available at a Whole Foods near you, but how fun?! Shoutout to Sweet and Sara for being the first brand to make a vegan marshmallow bunny – and a cute one at that! Not to mention all of their other adorable treats!

Okay, ready to see what’s in my Vegan Easter Basket?!

Thanks for the great ideas! I’m bummed this Easter because I recently started an elimination diet (no dairy, meat, soy, gluten, eggs, tree nuts or peanuts) due to breastfeeding issues. I will definitely give some of these a try!!

HANDLE NAME CHANGE!! I’ve been wanting to do th HANDLE NAME CHANGE!!

I’ve been wanting to do this for a while as a fresh start with all the changes to my “brand” in the last year. It feels right to just use my name 😀 (fun fact: I haven’t taken my hubbys last name yet because of business paperwork that I’m too lazy to figure out 😅 name changes are complicated)

@theglowingfridge started out of my love for the plant based lifestyle but so much has changed in the last 9 years and I’ve been itching to update. Nothing else will change and my blog will still remain as is, if you still use my recipes and such. Love you all and thank you for supporting me through all these changes 🤍🤍🤍

When my blood sugar is on a nasty rollercoaster, I’m not the best mama that I know I should be for my girl. I’m more irritable and short. So I prioritize protein, healthy fats and carbs at each meal. This helps me feel balanced and provides energy to play and chase after her all day! I need all the fuel I can get.

- breakfast tacos with pastured eggs
- collagen king coffee ☁️
- leftover homemade chicken fried rice
- swedish meatballs & gf pasta & green beans

But when I do I feel better, duh! And more confident. More productive. Happier in general. Of course I have super lazy days but I try to get myself together because I’m more likely to leave the house, you know mamas? I hate when people ask “why do you get ready if you’re home all day”..

I’m sharing different content like this because I feel like it and don’t want to be stuck in a box 😀
