    For me, CBD oil is not a craze, it’s here to stay.

    I know you’ve probably seen CBD everywhere. It has been talked about a lot in the wellness space and may seem like a health fad but because I just finished my 6th bottle, I figured it was time to share why I love it and how I use CBD oil for anxiety. It’s my magical elixir and has truly has changed my day-to-day life (I also have a 20% off code for you below, eek!).

    I’ve been using the premium CBD oil from NuLeaf Naturals for the past year and it has made the biggest difference with leveling me out and bringing me back down to earth. It helps me feel grounded, you know?

    Sometimes I can be so in my head that my thoughts take over. My heart starts pounding and I can’t think straight and worry consumes me. This is my sole reasoning for getting into CBD.     Anxiety can stem from overuse of caffeine or stimulants, poor diet, gut imbalance, emotional or chronic stress, lack of sleep, trauma that hasn’t been addressed… the list goes on. While my anxiety has greatly reduced since healing my gut and ridding of parasites, I still deal with generalized anxiety and tend to get super anxious when it’s time to start work because I don’t always know where to start or how I will get all the things done. Also, during different parts of my cycle, specifically when my hormone fluctuations are at their highest (before and around ovulation) it can get pretty bad. I also use it for period cramps and PMS!

    Of course I practice yoga, mindfulness, gratitude and deep breathing to help but when I need to calm my mind, relax and actually get shit done, I take a dropper full of this CBD and the calm sets in. From there, I’m able to focus.

    What is CBD exactly?

    CBD is short for Cannabidiol which is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis. It is being scientifically investigated for numerous reasons. Many people have heard of a cannabinoid called THC, which is the ingredient in cannabis that gets users high. Unlike THC, CBD does not cause a high.

    What are cannabinoids?

    Cannabinoids are chemical compounds that interact with receptors in our Endocannabinoid System (ECS) which was discovered only 6 years ago. The ECS plays a role in inflammation, sleep regulation, mood regulation, anxiety and overall homeostasis (which means overall balance in the body). Our bodies naturally produce cannabinoids called endocannabinoids. CBD has cannabinoids called phytocannabinoids and these enhance our ability to make more of our OWN endocannabinoids. Cool, right?

      I ordered some and I love it! It’s helped so much with my anxiety & stress, I take it when I’m feeling overwhelmed. What are your thoughts on how it affects fertility? I’m currently trying to get pregnant and I feel like this has helped with the anxiety aspect of trying to conceive, but have read mixed reviews on how it impacts female fertility.

I starts out my morning with a bunch of supplements to eliminate parasites and bacteria and repair my gut while supporting my liver and gallbladder. Next I make a protein smoothie with vanilla whey protein powder and a custom supplement to support my deficiencies. And lastly my creamy dandy blend latte because I’m not drinking coffee right now.

This is what works for me right now! I also have gf toast usually from @awgbakery. I’ve had to eliminate so many things but it’s all for good reason, to reduce all the inflammation.
